Scuba diving created the beginnings of a fascination with water - Debra is entranced by the world beneath the waves, and the way in which water distorts our vision. It was whilst living in Belgium that she began to study painting. In 2002 Debra returned from Europe to live in Sydney, and continue her studies. From this point on she has continually strived to find new ways to express herself on canvas, refining her techniques along the way. Debra works from her studio in Lindfield, NSW.
