Adriana, a Welsh ex-pat, says she uses painting as an outlet from her day job as the Creative Director of Adriana Owens Design and creates rich, textured canvases in an abstract style. “I paint because I love it. I love colours and how they can affect your mood and brighten your living space. It’s a very personal experience for me,” she says. Adriana went to art college in the UK and grew up in a very creative family which found her making anything from jewellery to gifts. She started painting after leaving art college to decorate her house and as presents for friends and it has grown from there.
